Supplies:

• Floral wire

• Vases

• Tendrils (e.g. ivy, vines, etc.)

• Summer flowers

Funnel shapes
Bend and shape the unwound wire into a funnel. You can do this by gently bending the wire into a cone shape and twisting the ends together to secure it firmly.

Prepare tendrils
Remove the leaves from the tendrils so that you are left with only the stems. This will make the tendrils easier to wrap around the funnel.

Wrap tendrils around the funnel
Wrap the defoliated tendrils around the wire frame you made in the shape of a funnel. Make sure the tendrils are wrapped tightly around the wire so they stay in place.

Positioning the funnel
Fill a vase with water and place the funnel on the opening of the glass. Now use the wire frame as an alternative insert base for flowers and other greenery. Go wild with beautiful summer flowers and greenery from the season!

Supplies:

• Rubber band

• Large vase

• Grass (long blades of grass)

• Rope

Elastic band around the vase
Pull an elastic band over the vase so that it sits firmly around the vase. Tuck the blades of grass under the elastic so they are secure. Make sure the grass is straight up.

Kinking and securing grass
Kink the grass in two places to create a kind of "bridge". Bend the grass so that the ends can be tucked under the elastic again. Tuck the ends of the bent grass back under the elastic band. This creates a nice arched structure around the vase.

Hide elastic
Wrap twine around the vase to hide the elastic. This creates a neat finish and hides the technique you used.

Decorate
Place any additional flowers or decorations in the vase to complete the arrangement.
