On Monday 6 September the time had finally come for the online masterclass given by Hanneke Frankema, in collaboration with Preferred Supplier Hoja Verde. The masterclass was dedicated entirely to creating a wreath of roses using the beautiful roses supplied by Hoja Verde. It was quite a challenge due to the COVID pandemic, but thanks to modern technology we were able to make use of live streaming for a fabulous result.
The five lucky winners were sent a box full of products so that they could join Hanneke Frankema live during the masterclass.
Hanneke Frankema, also known as the Iron Lady, started working with different techniques. The winners made some beautiful items using metal wire, for example. As you can see below, flowers made from metal wire were added to the wreath for a luxurious look.
Apart from fresh roses, the wreath also featured roses made of felt. These brought a wonderful touch of warmth and softness to the wreath. Other flowers were also incorporated into it, all of which served to bring out the very best in the Hoja Verde roses.
In a nutshell: the online masterclass was a great success! We would like to thank the participants for their enthusiasm, our Preferred Supplier Hoja Verde for the beautiful roses and their presence during the masterclass and, of course, Hanneke Frankema for her inspiring words and inexhaustible creativity.
